Hi, welcome to the new DMP Records news section. Lots going on at the DMP towers at the moment.
First of all news on John Merricks Remains, The bands debut release for DMP "Slapper" has now sold out - thanks to everyone who bought it!! - hope you like it!
The band are now finalizing the artwork for their debut album "Digging Up The Remains" which will be out early 2004 and features a brand new version of the former NME Single Of The Week "Blood On The Rocks".
Gigs are promised to promote the album, so check local press for details or keep logging on to the web site, as we aim to keep you updated.
Ultraviolet - "Bleed For Me" their debut release will be out shortly. Sorry for the delay but we have been sorting out distribution for the CD single. We have also been experiencing delays at the pressing plant. The band have recorded a follow up to "Bleed For Me". The new track entitled "Bluezone" is described by the band as an awesome electro goth sleaze track. It is penciled in for release early next year.
Total weirdos Abnormal will have their CD single "Mindgames" released late September. They also have a track on Retarded Electro - a compilation album out next year, featuring the more extreme sounds in electronic music.
DMP finally announce their new badge range. A badge featuring the DMP Records logo is now available for 70p (including P+P). Wear them with pride and lets push the northern electronic scene to the front of the UK music industry. Anyone ordering products from DMP will automatically receive a free badge.
