[John Merricks Remains]
Slapper was
recorded during October 2002 at the same time as Blood
on the Rocks, Wonderful World and Absolution.
All songs were recorded and produced by Andy Littlewood who had worked previously with the band on their earlier singles. All four tracks were for inclusion on the John Merricks Remains debut album Digging Up the Remains.
It was decided that Slapper should be the first single for DMP as it was less aggressive than previous " Merricks" material and slightly more commercial than it's predecessors.
